THE Cooly Rocks On Rock ‘n’ Roll and Swing Dance Championships are always a high spot of the festival and this year’s competition promises to be bigger and better than ever.
The theme is Old Skool Comp, Old Skool Rules, Old Skool Prices.
Competitors must be at Coolangatta Tweed Heads Golf Club, Soorley Street, Tweed Heads South, by 10am on Sunday 9 June. Doors open at 9am and the competition starts at 11am.
Categories include junior (up to 12 years), young adult (13 to 17 years), novice (all ages), adult (18 to 34 years) and master (35 years plus). The fee for junior entrants is $10, young adults and novice competitors pay $15 each, adults and masters $25 each.
The entry fee includes door entry and entitles competitors to participate in all eligible events.
Spectator entry fees are $10, children under 16 years enter free of charge.
