Festival backs pianist’s bid for competition

Sixteen-year-old Tweed pianist Ayesha Gough is set to compete in the Lev Vlassenko Piano competition in Brisbane next month.
And to help her get there, the Tyalgum Festival Committee is raising funds with a concert “Chrysalis” on Friday, August 5, as well as holding a raffle.
The “Chrysalis” concert will be held on Friday, August 5, at 6.30 pm at Sathya Sai Primary School, 9 Nullum Street, Murwillumbah. $25 Adults, $15 Students.

Raffle tickets are available from Anderson’s Treasure Store, Murwillumbah Music, Loades Butchery and The White Olive Restaurant.
