Wild horses up for sale

THE Guy Fawkes Heritage Horse Association Inc is holding an Open Day on Sunday 18 August at 1378 Guyra Road, Ebor.
This year, Digby Foster will instruct a member of the public to halter start an unhandled horse from the park.
Erica Jessup and her horse GF Carmella will give a demonstration on desensitising your horse and demonstrate a few tricks that Carmella has learnt along the way.
A large number of the Guy Fawkes Heritage Horses newly arrived from the National Park will be for sale in many colours and sizes. The selection ranges from young colts, ready to start under saddle, weanlings and breeding mares, some with foals at foot. A small breeding mob will be sold to the right home.
Gates open at 9.30am. Entry is $5 per person and kids under 12 are free.
Purchase of morning tea and lunch from the canteen or merchandise will go towards funding the new facilities and continued care of the horses.
Bookings would be appreciated for catering purposes.
For more information, directions and bookings phone Helen and Digby Foster on (02) 6775 9149 or Erica Jessup on 0428 575 342 or (02) 6657 5342.
