Roadside weed alert for Coreopsis

Coreopsis or Tickseed (Coreopsis lanceolata) is a naturalized Asteraceae (daisy) herb native to North America. It is a garden escapee and is found along roadsides, railway lines and disturbed areas.
Coreopsis is a short-lived perennial, has yellow flowers on leafless stalks 1m tall with dark green deeply lobed leaves. They form clumps and can grow thickly displacing native and pasture species following disturbance. They are spread along roads on vehicles and machinery, by roadwork maintenance grading and slashing, and the dumping of garden waste.
