BE it state, federal or council elections, you can always count on the Banora Point and District Residents Association to be ready to ask the tough questions – and to let others ask too.
The group holds candidates’ forum in the lead-up to all the major elections in the area and the forth-coming Federal Election is no different.
The group will hold a candidates’ forum to give Tweed residents a chance to meet and talk to the candidates for the Federal seat of Richmond.
The forum will be held on Monday 26 August at the Banora Point Community Centre at the corner of Leisure and Woodlands drives, Banora Point, from 7pm to 10pm.
“Candidates will each be given a short period of time to outline their policies and ideas for the future of our locality and to answer your questions,” group secretary Pat Tate said.
“When all candidates have spoken, you will be given the opportunity to put questions to any of the candidates.
“At the conclusion of the meeting, a light supper will be provided.”
