ONE of Armidale’s most versatile performers will take to the stage at The Armidale club on 6 July to launch his second solo release.
Hip hop artist Mullato or Ben Siegel as he is known to his friends will launch his second solo EP My Own Recipe which promises to be full of infectious beats, catchy melodies and rhymes that deliver plenty of rewind value.
The first single off the new release Happy Camper is currently climbing up the Triple J unearthed hip hop charts and currently sits at number 24.
Having already established himself in the local music scene as a member of popular hip Hop outfit Equilibrium alongside friend and fellow member Binga MC, Mullato is a sought after producer locally.
He recently featured both production and vocals on Brisbane group Brokenword’s debut release.
My Own Recipe comes on the back of Mullato’s first solo release Lessons From My Piano which is a favourite among local Hip Hop fans.
Joining Mullato in support will be Binga, Sneaky El, J-Rad, Skele J, Kardinal J and Koorified.
Residents and visitors are urged to get down to The Armidale Club on Saturday 6 July for a night of booming beats and support local music.
