Chamber ready for breakfast

Kingscliff Chamber of Commerce has got off to a flying start this year with three events in a month.
The chamber held it’s first meeting of the year at Babalou late last month followed by it’s first Friday night meet and greet for 2012 at the Surf Club just three days later.
The first meeting saw committee members float “Ten ideas to get Kingscliff going” with the group discussing everything from one way streets to better signage.
This month’s meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 20, at Babalou with guest speaker Karen Kolbe of Trains on Our Tracks who will speak on the topic “Utilising the 130km of Northern Rivers Rail Infrastructure”. The breakfast meeting will also include a brief report from Board members and a brief report on Council news from Cr Kevin Skinner.
There will be a display table for promotional material, so bring extra business cards and brochures.
Bookings are essential and guests are more than welcome at Babalou, Marine Parade, Kingscliff, at 6.45am for a 7.00am (DST) start, cost is $25 per head. Please RSVP by
March 16.
