It will be a case of diversity all the way as one of the biggest Tweed Shire Seniors Week’s kicks off on Sunday at Noble Park, Kingscliff with the Tweed Seniors awards.
“There will be something for everyone throughout the whole week,” event organiser Pauline Dow said.
“We have everything from bush dances to bridge and everything in between.”
This year features several new events including the Young at Heart Film Festival at Kingscliff, an introduction to Family History at Pottsville and the Twilight Walk at the newly refurbished Jack Evans Boat Harbour.
After last year’s success organisers will again run the Taste Life event at Jack Bayliss Park, Kingscliff on Monday morning.
The event will begin with an Umbrella Walk and will include presentations and demonstrations from a large range of local clubs, organisations and activity groups.
