THE Elders photo competition is proving popular, with around 400 entries already in the running to be featured in the 2014 Elders calendar.
Due to the success of the 2012 competition, Elders is again giving amateur photographers the opportunity to have their personal photos featured in the iconic Elders annual calendar.
Photographers are encouraged to submit photos which depict rural Australian life, for their chance to be one of 13 winning entries showcased in more than 75,000 copies of the calendar, distributed nation-wide.
Elders general manager marketing and strategy, Mark Geraghty, said the Elders calendar had been a feature of country homes around Australia for many years.
“We produce the calendar every year as a way of thanking our clients for their business,” Mr Geraghty said.
“The photo competition and Elders calendar showcases the passion that Australian’s have for agriculture and rural life,” he said.
Entries can be viewed and submitted via www.elders.com.au/photocomp. The competition closes 5pm (CST) Wednesday 31 July.
The 2014 Elders calendar will be in Elders branches across the country from November.
