All the fun of the fair

Local artist Michelle Phillips with just some of the hundreds of creations she and the students and parents at Kingscliff Primary School have made to sell at Friday night’s School Fair.

There is something nice about an old-fashioned school fair and that’s just what Kingscliff Primary will be holding at their school grounds on Friday afternoon.
From 4pm, the school with be a hive of activity with rides, food, stalls and all the fun of that good old-fashioned fun.
The event is the primary school’s big fundraiser of the year and there will be plenty of games and things to do.
Artist Michelle Phillips has been hard at work making lots of amazing mobiles and necklaces with a lot of help from the students. In fact the students, teachers and parents have been working for months putting together everything from cake stalls to raffles.
It is the first time the school has held a fair since 2010 (holding a movie night instead last year) and they are hoping that it will be a big success.
