Centaur goes global

Centaur Primary went global on Thursday, September 13, holding their annual Multicultural celebrations which traditionally conclude with the students’ HSIE studies.
Each classroom is transformed throughout the term, exhibiting interesting facts and features in displays that capture the essence of their chosen adopted country.
An air of festivity was predominately buoyant as students and staff paraded inventive and bright costumes, with some groups entertaining guests, performing dances that showcased traditional customs.
The productive school then all gathered to traverse the world, visiting each country via Google Earth before receiving passports that enabled the students to take part in tasting age-old culinary delights in a fun food smorgasbord.
Principal Darren Scott said, “Our multicultural celebrations are a highlight of the year for our entire school community.”
