The Pat Dixon Medical Centre will host a day of worship, prayer and morning tea in the board room at 10am this Thursday, August 25 for the Armidale community.
The prayer meeting is being organised by the Prayer for Armidale movement.
This is the latest in a series of get-togethers which are supported by the Armidale Ministers’ Fellowship.
This week’s guest speaker will be Monsignor Ted Wilkes.
The hymns will be accompanied by Cyril Green playing his guitar and Hazel Green and Olive Griffin will lead the singing.
At the most recent morning held in the Pat Dixon Centre, Rev Andrew Coburn was the speaker. His talk urged people to be prepared to let go of their security blankets in order to receive a full blessing from God.
Later he said about the morning, “There was a warm and relaxed time of connecting with God through prayer.
“This was my first prayer meeting with the Prayer for Armidale movement at Pat Dixon Medical Centre and I was made to feel very welcome. I will attend again.”
Don’t miss the worship, prayer and friendly morning tea at Pat Dixon at 10am on Thursday, August 25.
