Police release robbery image

CCTV images have been released as part of police investigations into a service station robbery on May 30 at South Tweed.

The robbery occurred at about 3.30am when two men entered the service station on Minjungbal Drive, Tweed Heads South, armed with knives.
A male shop attendant was threatened by the men, who demanded cash.
Police said the men left a short time later on foot with an amount of money and police from Tweed/Byron Local Area Command were notified.
The employee was not injured during the incident.
Investigators have conducted a number of inquiries and today released CCTV images of man who may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with a thin build and short brown hair.
He is shown wearing dark pants and a dark coloured jumper with ‘SPARE 93’ written on the front.
Officers believe the man was travelling in a new model blue Holden Commodore sedan.
