THE growing trend towards home-grown and local produce is set to be showcased at the Kentucky Seasonal Craft and Produce “Winter” Market on Sunday 9 June, at the Kentucky Memorial Hall.
The Kentucky Progress Association is inviting the people of the New England Region to come along and have a great day out in Kentucky and take home some fabulous home-grown produce and locally made craft.
The Kentucky Progress Association (KPA) is a community group which meets monthly to discuss ideas and ways of working together to improve the village and surrounding area for the benefit of the entire community and its visitors.
The KPA has held fund-raising events, community barbecues and been involved in establishing and maintaining the ‘Kids of Kentucky’ group- which holds regular activities for the youth of the community. The KPA is always seeking new and exciting ventures; at present the establishment of a quarterly market is our focus.
Featuring local Kentucky businesses, local produce and locally made crafts, each market is held in the Kentucky Memorial Hall on the second Sunday of each season with a 9am start and 1pm finish.
