We all know that there will be thousands of competitors and friends and family descending on Kingscliff over the next two weeks.
But to cater for all these people there has been a lot of work behind the scenes in recent days. Every time you head down to Marine Parade in Kingscliff it seems something has changed.
However it hasn’t changed on its own as editor Tania Phillips has found out as she trailed Kim Holdem, Gary Cain and the other members of Cudgen Headland Surf Lifesaving club. The club’s members will be swelled by a large number of volunteers from Surf Lifesaving NSW and the Tweed community over the next few days.
