Tweed South students run all over the countryside

On Friday, May 20, Tweed Heads South Primary School hosted the annual District Cross Country Carnival. The theme of the day was ‘Have a Go’, which all the children embraced, making the day a huge success.
Tweed Heads South had 76 children participate in the day and the war cries and chants could be heard all over the school as children proudly cheered on their team mates not only to victory, but also for participating and finishing the race.
Our school had two representatives, Kitty Laemchalad and Tim Johannsen, who will competed at the Zone Cross Country Carnival at Lennox Head on May 27.
