ONLY a few days remain to complete a community survey about new inspection requirements for safety fencing around private swimming pools in Tweed Shire.
Approximately 180 people have completed the Swimming Pool Fencing Inspections Program survey, which examines the levels of inspections that should be implemented under changes to the NSW Swimming Pools Act.
“We would like to receive feedback from each of those property owners and other Tweed residents about an inspection program which is appropriate and affordable for Tweed Shire,” Tweed Council Director of Planning and Regulation Vince Connell said.
To complete the survey before 4 October or for more information, visit www.tweed.nsw.gov.au and click on pool fencing inspections under ’what’s new’.
Printed copies of the questionnaire are available at council’s Murwillumbah and Tweed Heads offices.
