CHRISTMAS is coming early to Cabarita Beach Bogangar, in fact it will be held on Saturday.
Well not really, but the town will celebrate its annual Lions Christmas At Cabarita Community Christmas Party on the Foreshore at Pandanus Parade, Cabarita.
According to Peter O’Donnell, the event which draws local families together to celebrate Christmas at Cabarita, has a bush theme this year.
“We provide an open invitation to all Tweed Coast families to attend the festivities from 4pm to 9pm (NSW). This is an alcohol and glass-free event,” he said.
“There will be live bush music, local schools performing, tug o war, raffles, fireworks, jumping castle and other activities for children, plus Santa will arrive on a Tweed Coast Rural Fire Service Truck.
“Our beneficiaries will receive a donation from the profits raised- this includes Tweed Coast Rural Fire Service, Bogangar Primary School, Kingscliff High and Cabarita Beach Surf Club.
