Weight Watchers Tweed Heads South is celebrating the success of local members Catherine Filler and Dione Blom, who lost 40kg between them.
Catherine Filler, who lost 30kg over 42 weeks, was inspired to lose weight because of a poor family history of cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Since losing the weight, Catherine enjoys a more healthy and active life, where before she was limited.
“Weight Watchers has taught me how to make healthier choices with real food and exercise, which I know will help me maintain my weight,” Catherine said
“The best thing is that it was easy to adapt and it can fit in with anyone’s lifestyle.”
Fellow Weight Watcher Dione Blom lost 10 kilos in 20 weeks to join Catherine as a healthy living ambassador.
Weight Watchers leader Katie Slop is overjoyed with Catherine and Dione`s achievements, especially since stories such as theirs help to inspire countless people who struggle with their weight.
“Catherine and Dione have done an incredible job; taking control of their lives is a real inspiration to the whole community,” Katie slop said.
“I would like to encourage everyone to come along to the meeting and hear first-hand how Catherine and Dione have taken positive steps to lead a healthier life.
“If you’ve been thinking about joining or just need to start thinking about how to make a change, this is a great opportunity to experience what Weight Watchers can offer and learn more about why this is the most successful weight loss program.
“I guarantee you will walk away feeling inspired!”
Members of the public are encouraged to come along and hear Catherine Filler’s and Dione Bloms’ inspiring stories and to applaud their outstanding achievements
