They say “you’re never too old” and it’s an old adage that seems to perfectly describe the members of the Twin Towns U3A group.
If you’ve never heard of them U3A stands for University of the Third Age and is a group that aims to help older members of the community to learn new skills, make new friends and obviously, judging from these pictures from their end of year concert, have a lot of fun.
The annual U3A Christmas Concert was held at the PCYC Florence Street and marked the end of the year for U3A which teaches everything from French, to history, line dancing, literature and tap dancing among other things.
The group will be signing on again from this week, ready for another year of learning and laughing.
