ALL the colour and excitement of Melbourne Cup came to the Tweed this week.
And while a lot of us headed out to Murwillumbah to the races – all the venues along the Coast were kept busy with revellers enjoying seafood buffets, fine food, good music, champagne and air-conditioning.
And while there were a few hats around the place – it was definitely the year of colour and of fascinators and feathers. Colour was the order of the day – it seems electric blue is the new black or maybe the new red – anyway there was a lot of it.
