There were little girls in pigtails and freckles and bright shiny hats at Woolworths Kingscliff late last week, but it was all in a good cause.
The staff dressed up for the day to raise awareness for their current fundraising drive for the Royal Children’s Hospital.
The staff seemed more than happy to go with the brief for the day to “dress up like a child or be bright and colourful”.
While the dressing up was for one day only, the fundraising campaign will continue through to October 18, with customers able to donate through tins at the check-outs or by buying a raffle ticket or a bright, colourful flower.
The campaign is an annual event and is run at stores around Australia.
