IT’S beginning to feel a lot like Christmas – time to Deck The Halls and prepare for the region’s Christmas Carol events.
Here on the Tweed Coast, we know just how to celebrate with the long-standing and much-loved Kingscliff Carols By The Coast at Lions Park (next to the surf club) tonight.
The carols will include performances by Harry Townend, Rainer Tifen, Thea Shepherd, Peter Leonard, Susannah Smith and Jesse Aviu and Michelle Cook as long as the traditional backing band of Paul Ensbey, Jed and Jean Stone and Rabbit Robinson.
Then all attention turns to Salt Village on Saturday night for the annual Salt Village Christmas Carols in Central Park.
The carols will begin at 6pm (NSW) and finish with the fireworks spectacular at 8.30pm.
NBN host, Gavin Morris and Australian icon Denise Drysdale will present a host of local and international talent including a special performance from The Voice runner-up Darren Percival. Other special guests include Santa and Big Dog as well as a few surprises during the night.
And don’t forget the Coolangatta Christmas Carols at Queen Elizabeth Park on Sunday night.
