The annual Gold Coast Tweed Region Croquet Tournament is currently being conducted across several croquet club grounds.
The Tournament runs from July 7 to July 19. The finals of the major event, the Open Singles Championship will be played at Tweed Heads Club in Recreation Street on Sunday, July 15.
Murwillumbah Croquet Club will be hosting three events including the high level Doubles event which was held on Monday and Tuesday and the Mixed Doubles competition which will be played on July 18 and 19.
Other events will be held during the carnival at Coolangatta, Palm Beach and Southport. Spectators are welcome at all venues. For further information phone 02 6672 2064.
Competitors have travelled from New Zealand, Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland to participate in this year’s event.
