The work of staff and departments at Tweed Hospital will be among those honoured at Griffith University School of Medicine’s annual Academic and Clinical
Excellence Awards.
The ACE awards ceremony highlights medical industry employees at Wesley, Gold Coast, Tweed and Logan Hospitals who share their excellence in the education of future health professionals.
Clinical skills facilitators, school academic teachers, academic researchers and early career researchers will also be acknowledged at the Centre for Medicine and Oral Health event on the Gold Coast on April 28.
The awards presentation will be preceded by a debate on the merits of evidence-based medicine involving a host of medical experts including Griffith’s Dean of Medicine Professor Simon Broadley.
