Tweed Coast residents looking to save money on their energy bills could have an extra $300 in their wallets by simply switching their energy provider.
AGL is offering NSW residents, who switch to AGL, savings on their electricity bill of $300 over the next three years, compared to the regulated tariff. Large power users have the potential to make even greater savings.
David Hamilton, General Manager Marketing, says the power is now in the hands of consumers to make decisions about which energy provider will give them the best deal.
“We are acutely aware that people are concerned about power prices and that’s why we have come out with an offer to support the people on the Tweed Coast.
“As a company with a proud heritage of providing energy products and services to people in New South Wales for 174 years, we understand our customers’ needs,” said Mr Hamilton.
Market research conducted by AGL showed that one in three NSW regional residents were likely to switch energy providers for a five per cent discount.
“We have gone over and above this with an ongoing discount for three years, as well as an up-front credit on the first bill.
“We encourage people to take advantage of our best offer by going online to save. It only takes minutes to switch and save by going to www.agl.com.au/switchandsave,” he said.
Australia’s leading integrated renewable energy company, AGL currently provides gas
and electricity services to more than one million customers in NSW.
