Kingscliff land goes on the market

A large landholding between Kingscliff and Cudgen has been placed on the market in a national campaign.
The properties, which comprise two lots totalling approximately 17.736 hectares at 742 and 744 Cudgen Road, Cudgen, are located adjacent to the Kingscliff TAFE between the Beck and Prichard properties and are seen as strategic holdings for an investor, developer or owner-occupier.
It is believed one of the properties was caught up in controversy as the site of a proposed Anglican Primary School turned down by council in the early ’90s.
The properties are being sold by Receivers and Managers, Ferrier Hodgson, who are offering the land for sale in one line or separately through an Expressions of Interest campaign conducted by Lachlan Harris of CBRE.
Mr Harris said the properties would suit a range of potential buyers, due to the proximity to the Kingscliff TAFE, Kingscliff High School, the nearby township and the Tweed Coast beaches.
“These properties are very well positioned and we have no doubt they will draw a good level of interest both locally and nationally,” Mr Harris said.
“The properties represent a great opportunity for an owner-occupier, investor or developer to secure a strategic land holding on the Tweed Coast.
“The properties currently carry rural zonings, namely agricultural protection, and possess good soil for agriculture.”
Mr Harris said the CBRE marketing campaign would be targeting local and national developers as well as private investors, landbank holders, owner-occupiers and superannuation funds.
The Expressions of Interest campaign closes on November 15.
