THE Tweed District Tennis Association Senior Mixed and Competition grand finals were played at Tweed Heads courts on Saturday.
The event was played over four divisions with Club Banora dominating the finals to win two of the major divisions.
Club Banora took out Division One with the Pretenders proving too strong, winning 5/30 to 0/21 over the Tweed Heads Sculptures.
The club backed up to also win the Division Three where their Glenrock side defeated the Tweed Heads Cubs and Cougars 5/36 to 3/35.
In Division Two, it was it was Terranora Your Fault who took home the silverware with a victory over Terranora Serves U Right 5/35 to 1/24 while in the Division Four competition, Kingscliff Ospreys 4/37 defeated Tweed Heads Warrigals 4/33.
At end of day’s play, TDTA president Paul McIntosh made presentations to members of the premiership teams and best performed players.
