Last term, six gifted and talented Year 6 students from Tweed Heads South Public School were chosen to do a two-day course learning the skills and techniques to create a watercolour painting.
The students enjoyed the experience; they were enthusiastic about experimenting with different techniques and excited to be creating their own original watercolour.
They were very proud of their completed work titled “Under The Sea”.
This is an annual event at Tweed Heads South Public School and this year the six lucky students were Conrad, Jesse, Kalista, Jodin, Chloe and Christopher .
The two-day event happened with the help and hard work of Di Lawrence, Joan Sherriff and Mrs Ansems.
