Leos lend a hand

The Cabarita Pottsville Leos raised more than $400 to help out the Pottsville Rural Fire Brigade with a car wash on Sunday morning.
All of the young Leos (an off-shoot of the local Lions Club) turned up to take on the challenge of washing cars, along with a little help from five other locals.
The group cleaned approx-imately 30 cars and, with the sale of cup cakes (made by Leos), cold drinks and icy poles, they made a grand total of $427.60, all of which will be donated to the Tweed Coast Fire Brigade based at Pottsville.
The club wishes to thank all the customers for their support and those that were happy to donate a little extra, all for a good cause.
