THE first annual Gold Coast Beach Bash is set to hit North Kirra Beach on Sunday with more than 2500 participants already registered.
Beach Bash is Australia’s only obstacle race on the beach and with 3000-plus competitors expected at this inaugural event, plus a slide down the world’s largest inflatable water slide – “Slideshow Bob”.
Beach Bash will start and finish at Roughton Park, corner of Musgrave and Winston streets from 7.30am.
“Slideshow Bob” will be set up and ready for action the day before Beach Bash on Saturday 2 November from 8am at North Kirra Beach, with all those interested in having the slide of their life invited to come along to try it out!
Along with all the sand obstacle racing you can handle, Beach Bash is set to be a great day out with friends and family, with the entertainment precinct set to feature Lorna Jane, Snap Fitness, the Gold Coast Titans and much more.
Online registrations will close midnight Friday 1 November or participants can register on the day.
