THE Tweed Vehicle Restorers Club celebrate their 30th birthday this weekend, with their annual rally around the roads of the Tweed.
The rally will be held on Saturday and Sunday, starting at the Tweed River Jockey Club near Condong.
On Saturday club members will meet at 9am at the jockey club and book in, according to club president Peter Ling.
“It will be a chance to catch up with friends and admire the cars,” he said.
“The cars will leave for a scenic drive at 10.30am and lunch at Crystal Creek School at noon.
“On Sunday morning members will meet at the jockey club again from 9am for a static display and the judging of the most popular cars before heading off on another scenic drive at 10am.”
“Vehicles date from the mid to early 1900s, right through to the late 1970s.
“Everyone is welcome to come along and have a look.”
