Jupiters Hotel and Casino has secured yet another “All Star” act for Jupiters Theatre with Smash Mouth set to transform the new $20 million venue into party-central for their only Queensland show on Sunday, October 21.
Smash Mouth will make a stop on the Glitter Strip during their “Magic Australian Tour”, which celebrates the release of forthcoming album “Magic”, their first in six years.
Jupiters Hotel & Casino Acting Managing Director, Craig Peachey, said the band will bring their timeless, fun-loving style to Jupiters Theatre for a night that promises to be a non-stop party.
He said the 60s-influenced garage band joins a long list of international artists to grace the Jupiters Theatre stage since its re-opening in April, including Michael Bolton, Tony Bennett, Seal and Kelly Rowland.
“The team at Jupiters Hotel & Casino is working very hard behind the scenes to secure the best of the best in entertainment for the Gold Coast, and we have a long list of announcements just around the corner,” Mr Peachey said.
“It truly is an exciting time, not only for the property, but for the city as well, as we continue to deliver both national and international superstar acts for all ages.”
Fans will be treated to number one smash hits “All Star” and “Walkin’ on the Sun”, as well as much-loved tracks including “Can’t Get Enough Of You Baby”, “Then The Morning Comes” and their cover of The Monkees’ classic “I’m A Believer”, which featured on the Shrek soundtrack.
Forming in 1994, the multi-platinum band has been spreading their unique style for almost two decades, selling more than 10 million albums worldwide.
For the ultimate party from start to finish, don’t miss Smash Mouth in action at the Gold Coast’s entertainment hot spot, Jupiters Hotel & Casino on Sunday, October 21.
