Create a masterpiece this holidays

New England Regional Art Museum is running their popular school holiday art workshops from April 10 to 20. These workshops give your children a creative break from school and are led by local artists. Children will have fun and learn new skills, exploring sculpture, stencil art, clay and drama. Choose one, two or all four workshops!

Funky Junk Sculpture on Tuesday, April 10 and 17
10 am to 12 noon. All ages ($15pp)
Work with cardboard rolls, pipe cleaners, straws, ice-cream sticks, paper plates and old bottles. Join any sort of “junk’ and paint to make a funky sculpture.

Stencil Art on Wednesday, April 11 and 18
10am to 12noon. eight and over ($15pp)
Learn to make and print stencils. Graffiti is quickly entering the fine art world, and stencilling is the way to do it; it’s easy, fun and looks awesome. Bring a simple idea along.
Colourful Clay Cup with Lorenne Michel on Thursday, April 12 and 19
10 am to 12 noon and 1pm to 3pm. All ages ($20pp)
Learn how to make a pottery cup and decorate with patterns and glazes.
Children under five to be accompanied by an adult. Two firings and all materials are included in the cost.

Felt Tip Theatre Co Workshop, Friday, April 13
10am to 4pm. Ages eight and up ($50 full day)
Skill and confidence building drama games and performances. Bring lunch. Loads of fun! Minimum number to run is eight; maximum number is 16. Will also run April 20 if waiting list fills.

Bookings essential…Please call: 6772 5255. Bring children five to 10 minutes early to the front of the museum to meet the instructors. Please wear suitable clothing.
