Iconic Brisbane rockers Regurgitators head to the Coolie Hotel to unleash new music on unsuspecting fans.
Quan, Ben and Peter are out on the road promoting “SuperHappyFunTimesFriends” which is out this week.
The lead single “One Day” was released in July 2011.
The album features the song “Born Dumb” that was previously released as the “Nrob Bmud” EP in December 2010.
The album is set to be released on CD and digital formats, as well as non-traditional formats such as vinyl, cassette and playbutton because this is, let’s face it, Regurgitator and they don’t play by the usual musical rules.
They have been busy playing non-traditional gigs in the way you’d expect them to. As their unconventional press release says – ‘‘a year past of sonic pilgrimages to Akira with an inspired rendition of a live soundtrack at last year’s Sydney Opera House ‘Graphic’ festival; soccer scores with a short live performance at the exciting A Grade Soccer Grand Final in Brisbane; numerous shows in London, Dubai, Bahrain and the never far domestic regions with the 2010 Distractions tour ala guests Rat vs Posssum, along with fun sets at Port Macquarie’’ Festival of the Sun and New Year’s Eve in Newcastle”.
