Troy Kinne is often recognised from his performance on The Search for Australia’s Funniest Man DVD featured with FHM magazine in January 2006.
He had been performing stand up comedy for less than a year prior to this performance and has since won almost every young comic competition in the country.
Winning the You Gotta Be Joking competition at the Comic’s Lounge in Melbourne, saw Troy receive the prize of a trip to New York to attend the American Comedy Institute.
Since returning from New York, Troy has made guest appearances on Nova FM’s Hughsie & Kate, Vega FM’s Dicko, Dave and Chrissy, Network Ten’s David & Kim, Foxtel’s Stand Up Australia, and worked for two years on MIX FM and GOLD FM in Melbourne as part of the ‘on air’ promotional street teams.
