Dave Spicer began playing piano at the age of five.

On top of his extensive gigging and touring history, Dave is also the creator of School of Music Online. This website is a popular community website for music students worldwide and hosts contemporary music, video lessons for all levels.
Sue Bond is a seasoned musician. She displays her love for jazz music with her breezily infectious interpretations of a wide and interesting repertoire.
When performing, she delights her audience with a sensitivity to lyrics, impeccable feel for timing and an innate sense of swing.
Influenced by Ella Fitzgerald, Carmen McRae, Sarah Vaughan and all the great singers, Sue has developed her own honest and spontaneous style to become one of the most compelling jazz singers in Australia.
She cut her teeth on the cabaret circuit in Sydney in her teens and her career blossomed when she moved to Perth and became a celebrity in her own right, appearing on all the top television shows as a solo performer in Jazz.
Sharing the stage with Dave and Sue are the swinging talents of Andrew Shaw (double bass) and Geoff Proud (drums).
Expect an evening of fine and lyrical jazz standards performed by one of the most accomplished jazz quartets in Australia, when the Dave Spicer Trio play, with special guest Sue Bond at Live and Intimate in The Basement on Saturday, July 9.
