Talented Tasmanian Turds tour Armidale

Tasmanian band The Muddy Turds.
Masters of music mayhem Tasmanian musicians the Muddy Turds will flush their way to Armidale during their national tour, performing at The Armidale Club on Friday, October 26.
Fun and energetic performers, the Turds tackle rock, blues, punk, country, funk, folk and comedy into an entertaining performance.
October 2012 will see the The Muddy Turds leaving the Apple Isle and once again squeezing into a van to explore the bigger island in search of larger gene pools. This will be the first time that the band will bring the full five-piece lineup on the road and their excitement is leaving sticky puddles all around camp turd.
The lineup includes new front woman (Kidd Gloves) who has cut her teeth in stand-up and musicals, joining sideshow freak Squid, and circus coach MD Turd. These three idiots undertake a triple front-person assault of musical mayhem on all unsuspecting audiences. Musical talent backs the amigos in the form of Father Bicket (drums) and Mr Hall (harmonica). The turds will also bring along copies their new EP titled ‘Rangaphile’ which was produced by 3K Short (Machine Gun Fellatio). The song Rangaphile is accompanied by a cheeky YouTube clip, which shows the band breaking several road rules (because they are so punk) and features two very lusty scenes with Julia Gillard (because they are so sexually irresistible).
The Muddy Turds will be performing at The Armidale Club, with The Australian Beefweek Show (Newcastle). 9pm, $8 cover.
There is some evidence of their antics on the internet. If you care to look through YouTube you may see Squid snorting a condom up his nose at Be My Florentine 2011, or the band encouraging Spiderman to wrestle Evil Spiderman at Falls Festival 2009. Their most recent filmclip is for the song ‘Rangaphile’ can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFtbqlVL-Xw
