Electrik Lemonade are five individuals united by the cosmic collective boogie, playing rump funkin’ live shows that feature a repertoire of original energetic funk rock tunes, infused with electronic, jazz and blues elements.
Since their debut in December 2010, Electrik Lemonade’s live performances have rapidly grown as they play to crowds at events across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Northern NSW and have even reached airplay in Europe. Drawing on a unique blend of influences and combining their comedic, fun attitude toward life with a visually and sonically immersive music show, the crowd is never left with anything but the funkiest feeling.
Since releasing their debut EP ‘Recombobulated’ in mid-2011, winning LoudFest and being awarded with an ALMA (Australian Live Music Award) they have just released their second EP, which they are looking forward to playing at Sheoak Shack on Sunday, July 22 at 2pm.
