Brisbane based singer-songwriter Andrew Morris recently released his critically acclaimed fifth solo album ‘Shadow of a Shadow’.
The self-produced folk-rock opus features many guest artists including Tim Rogers, Bernard Fanning, Clare Bowditch, Washington, The Gin Club, The Wilson Pickers, The Panics and many more.
Morris has been busy on the live front touring for the launch of his new album, plus support shows with Powderfinger, Dan Sultan, Justin Townes Earle and Augie March.
He has played many festivals including Splendour In The Grass, Big Day Out, Day On The Green, Queenscliff, Apollo Bay, Gympie Muster, Woodford and Port Fairy Folk festivals.
Also keeping him busy is touring and recording with his ‘side project’, twice Aria nominated The Wilson Pickers. Morris was awarded the Grant McLennan Memorial Fellowship with fellow Wilson Picker Danny Widdicombe, and travelled to Berlin in 2011 to further his songwriting.
