The annual TAFE art and design exhibition will be held at the TAFE studios on Allingham Street, Thursday, November 24 at 6pm.
Painting, sculpture, drawing and photography on exhibition will reflect the diversity of the Fine Art Course, while work from the design course will display current trends in graphic design using the latest software.
Students range in age from 17 to 70 and are from a diverse range of backgrounds. People interested or thinking of enrolling in either the visual art or design courses offered at the Armidale TAFE campus are encouraged to come along and see the possibilities.
TAFE courses are weighted towards skill development so, in the initial stages of all courses, students are taught the basic principles.
Many of the works at the exhibition will be for sale, so come along and support tomorrow’s artists and designers.
Also on display is the new mural painted on the eastern side of the administration block by the Diploma of Painting students.
The opening will be on Thursday, November 24 at 6pm, with the exhibition running until Wednesday, November 30. Opening hours are 11am-6pm weekdays and 10am to 4pm weekends.
