Popular Gold Coast based Popera Tenor Daniel Mallari returns to Twin Towns Services Club when he performs as guest artist at the venue’s Sunday Sweepstake Show on Sunday, June 19.
Hosted by Wickety Wak legend and Mo Award winner Greg and Laura Doolan, the fun and entertaining sessions have made Twin Towns the place to be on a Sunday afternoon.
Following the Members’ Sweepstake Draw, this week’s guest, Daniel Mallari, will perform a special musical theatre themed showcase.
An amazing showcase of versatility, Daniel is a multi-award winning performer, having worked with the Hong Kong Opera Society with credits including Puccini’s Turandot, The Pyjama Game, Dr Seuss and Walt Disney in Concert and played in the Australian premiere of Jekyll & Hyde – the musical, alongside the late Rob Guest.
Daniel regularly performs his solo show as Guest Entertainer on the finest cruise ships around the word.
Following numerous recordings, this most versatile dynamic tenor released his debut solo CD ‘My Corner of the Sky” followed by his second release titled ‘Chasing Dreams’ and is set to launch his latest release ‘Till I Hear You Sing’.
Besides his solo career, Daniel is also well known to local audiences for his headline performances for Popera Classics Collection and the highly popular doo-wop male harmony trio The Lions Den.
