Seasons Quilt
A LOVELY quilt showing our four seasons is on display in the foyer of the Armidale Dumaresq Council. Beryl Rodgers from Quilters and Patchworkers New England created the overall concept and members of the group then interpreted each of the seasons in their own individual way. Soothing greens and greys, sparkling blues and pinks tempered with rich oranges and mellow ochres create a story of flowers, shrubs, fruits, wrens, bees, caterpillars, ladybugs, butterflies, vegetables, seeds, eggs, rabbits, roos, a watering can and even an elf – using only material, needle and thread.
