Aaron comes home to the coast

Tweed Coast singer /songwriter Aaron Bishop recently released his new E.P “ Perfect Place”. It’s a collection of acoustically driven, folk-inflected songs with catchy choruses and quirky guitar leads.
“It’s more stripped back than my last album( The Calm Electric, 2008), this time I wanted the songs to breathe a bit more”, Aaron said.
The EP was produced by composer Scott Lloyd Shelley.
“ Working with Scott was incredible, he’s a phenomenal musician. I think together we really got to the essence of the songs,” he said.
Throughout “Perfect Place” Aaron’s song writing explores the power of the human spirit, both the dark and the light sides.
Aaron Bishop has been a musician for 20 years, studying at “ The Australian Institute of Music”.
He lived abroad for many years, playing gigs and recording music in London, Edinburgh, Dublin and Tokyo. 2008 saw the release of “ The Calm Electric” and the song “ Light from Killybegs” was showcased at the 2009 world MUSEXPO in L.A.
His music also appears on the “ All Abilities Playground”, an online game site for disabled children.
