Still going strong, Packsaddle’s annual fundraising exhibition, is in its 25th year, and will be held at the New England Regional Art Museum, Armidale from Friday evening of October 28 until Sunday November 13.
This selling exhibition offers an extraordinary opportunity to view and purchase a wide range of art works from oils, prints, watercolours and sculptures from a large number of Australia’s established and emerging artists.
Recently, Sydney art dealer and long time Packsaddle supporter, Janie Miller, representing a number of well know Australian artists, visited the Packsaddle committee to enable them to choose from a wide selection of the artists’ works.
The Packsaddlers were thrilled with the works offered from artists including Clifton Pugh, Lloyd Rees, Conchita Carambano, Arthur Boyd, Lionel Lindsay and John Olsen, to name but a few. Many more art dealers and artists will be contributing to the fundraising exhibition which will be opened by well known Australian artist, Madeleine Winch at 6pm on Friday October 28.
