Athol Guy and Friends have collectively pooled their unique musical talents to offer you a wonderfully entertaining event.
As four individuals, their success has been world-wide. Athol with his extraordinary career with The Seekers; Buddy as a local 60s pop icon and with ongoing seamless musical success, latterly recapturing the moods of Sinatra, Bobby Darren and others in concert and cabaret; and Jenny and Rod, who, as “Harmony Plus” have had great success performing in the best hotels and cabaret spots in Japan, Europe and the Middle East, as well as a myriad of local venues.
As a four-hander of local friends, they soon realised they had something special to offer, with beautiful harmonies and some different takes on old favourites. Their audiences far and wide confirm this.
This show, complete with historic 60s video footage not seen publicly before, and other unique musical clips featuring The Seekers’ triumphant journey, is a compelling and nostalgic statement about how music over the generations shaped and influenced our lives.
They have created a different, laid-back musical experience for all age groups covering everything from Sinatra and Ella, Rock and Roll, the Sixties and Seekers’ songbook, right up to the latest tastes in “cool”. The group treat their audience as intimate friends out for a relaxing and fun experience.
