Local sculptors to delight the senses

The glorious garden at Trevenna, the home of the Vice Chancellor of the University of New England Jim Barber and his wife Mary will be the setting for the opening of NERAMble showcasing a display of outdoor three dimensional works of art on the weekend of April 7 and 8.
This is the third year that local sculptors have exhibited in an outdoor setting and is being conducted to showcase the skills of New England, North West artists. A wide range of works of art of all sizes and prices will be on display so that there will be affordable art for collectors beginning to purchase for their gardens as well as art for the more experienced collectors.
The magnificent garden at Trevenna is well suited to display art works having extensive areas of lawn, areas of exquisite plantings and sweeping views of Armidale.
It is intended that this will continue as an annual event and will include established artists as well as students and artists developing their skills. The event is also designed to encourage new artists, so please come along and look, purchase and maybe commission a work of art especially for you. The works of art to be displayed are suitable for public places and private gardens and could be suitable for purchase for public display.
