Hasn’t it been wonderful in Australia to sit and watch the best in the world play. Unfortunately I feel the grunters in the game are spoiling it for everyone. Opponents, spectators and viewers want to watch tennis not listen to grunters every time a ball is hit. If it was necessary for all players to grunt the game would lose its followers. It has become a bad habit of just a few and needs to be addressed.
Surely the powers that be in the tennis world should be able to set some limits on how the players behave on court in this regard.
I’m afraid if the finals are played between two grunters my television will be turned off, which is a pity because the tennis is so good and deserves to be enjoyed not just endured.
