Simple solution

It seems simple to me. If Julia Gillard wants to help her Australian people to prosper in the price rises put upon them, instead of another Carbon Tax, couldn’t the Government show leadership and reduce our carbon residue for the planet, by leaving at least half of our coal on the ground. Yes, it would reduce money the Government would love to have, but we won’t have to pay out as much. The other half of the coal will be sold internationally and go up into the ozone, sadly. Uranium could sell half as much. We are a hot and sunny country that should be leading the world in solar power.
All our outback and coastal cities should be powered by it. Yet Julia recently put new expensive electric hot water systems into the lodge and not solar hot water services, like they tell us to do.
