Recent letters to the Tweed Coast Weekly were very critical of Tony Abbott. I suggest a bit of fair thinking here, please.Tony is married, has three daughters and three sisters. His wife, sick of hearing negative comments regarding her husband, decided to speak out in his defence, as the person who knows Tony best. So too did Michelle Obama speak out, as the woman who knows her husband best. So what’s wrong with that? Tony was elected Leader of the Opposition by his peers. He participates in marathons and triathlons for charity. So wha’ts wrong with that? Many men and women compete in similar sporting events for charity. I am sure all of these men cannot be henpecked. Julia Gillard – No sibling, (that I’ve heard of) No children, No husband, No charity work (that I’ve heard of). Perhaps that makes a very selfish, spoiled woman. Pulling the Midnight coup to stab Kevin Rudd in the back, then protecting Peter Slipper with help from Nicola Roxon to save their jobs. The help from the Handbag Hit Squad to defame Tony Abbot could be proof of just how selfish and self centred Julia Gillard really is.
